Lisa + Ed, Byron Colby Barn
When I met with Lisa and Ed they had a clear vision of the Wedding they wanted. They wanted to incorporate elements of elegance, but more importantly fun. They incorporated elegance through their flowers and attire. There were splashes of fun everywhere you looked, from the bags (cornhole) that were set out during cocktail hour to the bar in the silo!
Lisa and Ed choose to use greenery, a dusty blue, and peach throughout their wedding which created a very soft and romantic feel to the day. They got married on a warm fall day which allowed for some fantastic outdoor photos.
Ed and Lisa had a relaxing morning getting ready with their bridal party, the first time they saw each other was down the aisle. They got married at St. John the Baptist in Johnsburg then traveled to Byron Colby Barn.
The venue is a great DIY venue and Lisa took full advantage of that. She learned calligraphy during the planning process and created some stunning signs. She also created an adorable place card table, she put all of the place cards in a window shutter (so cute!). Greenery was used as a table runner for the guest tables and she sprinkled some beautiful candles throughout. We added some utensils and glassware to enhance the look of the table.
Lisa and Ed were so much fun to work with! They are down to earth, funny, and so incredibly sweet.
Dana Ann Photography captured their day, Dana is so kind and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Needless to say, Lisa and Ed loved their wedding gallery! Check out her work below!
